The Parcells Middle School PTO’s Annual Holiday Art and Craft Bazaar is a central part of the Grosse Pointe holiday calendar. The War Memorial is presenting an extensive program this year with its Holiday Homecoming events, beginning the season on November 23rd. The main event is the eagerly awaited Tree Lighting Ceremony, scheduled for 5:30 PM, featuring a 20-foot tree illuminated, creating a magical setting for all ages. The festivities commence at 4 PM, offering a full evening of attractions, including hot chocolate, impressive ice sculpting demonstrations, a charming Vintage Holiday Marketplace, and engaging children’s story sessions with Princess Belle, ensuring a memorable experience for the whole family.
Adding to the excitement is the new Mingle with Kringle Reception, an exceptional opportunity for patrons to enjoy a strolling mac & cheese buffet and festive appetizers before the tree lighting, followed by cookies, hot cocoa, and a special appearance by Santa Claus afterward. Tickets are limited for this special event, providing a distinct way to celebrate the season.
